TheatreFIRST is committed to providing an enjoyable experience for all patrons in a safe and healthy environment. To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, we have developed a COVID-19 Safety Plan, which follows the most current guidelines of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC,) complies with all local and state ordinances, and agrees to all mandates put forth by Actors Equity Association, the union for professional stage actors. (Please note that all guidelines and policies are subject to change in accordance with government mandates and recommendations.)
TheatreFIRST is a fully-vaccinated company.
We require that all guests be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to attending a performance at Live Oak Theatre.
All persons entering the space must be prepared to provide proof of vaccination at the door. Proof of vaccination can be your actual vaccination card, a photo of your card, or online validation.
If any of our guests are prohibited from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine for legitimate medical reasons in compliance with ADA regulations, accommodations that follow government and CDC safety guidelines will be made. Those who are prohibited from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine for legitimate medical reasons must provide a viable doctor’s note and present proof of a negative PCR/NAAT COVID test taken within seventy-two hours of entry. There are no exceptions.
Masks are mandatory for all guests inside the building, and we ask that guests wear their masks while not actively eating or drinking. Staff members will remain masked at all times. Complimentary masks will be made available at the door as needed. Guests who do not comply with our mask policy will be asked to leave.
Hand Sanitizing Stations
Hand sanitizer dispensers with a sixty percent or greater alcohol content have been installed within the theatre, outside our restroom, and at other locations on our premises. Guests are encouraged to use them frequently.
Due to our current mask policy, there are no food or drinks permitted in the auditorium, nor in the lobby before the show.
